Textbooks
The library does not order evaluation or desk copies of textbooks for faculty. Faculty members are responsible for securing their own copies. Below are a list of contacts for requesting evaluatin and desk copies direct from the publisher.

Accessing Resources Off Campus
Need to use a library database off campus but don't know the passwords? Log in through the new Faculty Portal! There is a link to the Library Portal in the right-hand sidebar. The Library Portal provides direct access to almost all of our online resources, no separate passwords needed.
Many resouces are still accessible on campus via IP authentication and off campus with the same usernames and passwords as before.
If you have any questions about the portal, or any other library resources, don't hesistate to let us know!

Sources for Films with Performance Rights
Because of the differing rules governing for-profit schools with regards to copyright, you must have performance rights in order to show a film in the classroom. Please see the Copyright guide for more information. The following vendors sell films with classroom, educational, or public performance rights. To order a film, please fill out the materials request form above and note the name of the vendor.
- Films Media GroupFormerly known as Films for the Humanities & Sciences, Films.com offers educational videos and documentaries on a wide variety of topics. Streaming previews are often available.
- PBS Educational MediaFind video versions of many PBS specials and series. Look for titles marked "AV" for full educational performance rights.
- Bullfrog MediaEducational films with a focus on the environment and activism.
- California Newsreel"Film and video for social change since 1968."
- Filmaker's Library
- First Run FeaturesIndependent and foreign feature films and documentaries.
- Insight Media
- Landmark MediaAreas of concentration include Culinary, Fashion, and Art History, particularly Architecture and Interior Design.
- Media Education FoundationDocumentaries focus on the media's effect on society in many different realms. Previewing films on the site before ordering is recommended.
